Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to CJ Moving Bins. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before renting our equipment. By placing an order or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Equipment Rental and Ownership

  • Ownership: All rental equipment, including plastic moving bins, dollies, wardrobes, and bin lids, remains the exclusive property of CJ Moving Bins.

  • Rental Period: The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled return or pickup date specified in your order confirmation.

2. Delivery and Pickup Scheduling

  • Scheduling Notification: CJ Moving Bins will send out specific pickup and delivery times 24 hours in advance of the scheduled date.

  • Time Windows: Standard delivery and pickup windows are 4-hour blocks.

  • Saturday Exception: The standard 4-hour block schedule does not apply to Saturday deliveries or pickups, which are subject to separate scheduling constraints.

3. Condition of Equipment and Replacement Fees

  • Return Condition: All rented material must be returned in the exact condition it was received, clean and free of significant damage or alteration.

  • Loss or Damage Charges: If any equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the customer will be charged a replacement fee of $20.00 for every individual bin or bin lid that is lost or damaged.

4. Late Returns and Extensions

  • Late Fee Penalty: If you do not return the rental equipment on or before the scheduled return date, a late penalty of $1.00 per day, per bin will automatically accumulate until the equipment is returned or reported lost.

  • Extensions: If you need to extend your rental period, you must contact CJ Moving Bins at least 24 hours before your scheduled return date. Extensions are subject to equipment availability and standard rental rates.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Full Refund Deadline: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled service date to receive a full refund.

  • Late Cancellation Penalty: Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service date are subject to a $25.00 cancellation penalty.

6. Liability and Use

  • Proper Use: The customer agrees to use the bins only for their intended purpose of packing and moving standard household or office goods.

  • Limitation of Liability: CJ Moving Bins is not responsible for any damage to personal property, injuries, or losses resulting from the use, misuse, or handling of our equipment.

7. Payment and Authorization

  • Credit Card Authorization: By completing your booking, you authorize CJ Moving Bins to charge the credit card on file for any additional fees incurred under these terms, including late return penalties, cancellation fees, damages, or unreturned equipment.

8. Governing Law

  • Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions, and any disputes arising from your rental agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Ohio law.
